This is just my rant...
Does anyone else get tired of how Madden doesn't allow for roster flexibility? ie. - the mandatory 3 QB roster rule (when many teams these days carry only two)...offensive/defensive linemen who MUST play a certain position (a lot of guys are flexible and play multiple positions)...defensive backs that can play both safety positions, etc.
also, when will madden ever get with the REAL NFL and allow for the practice squad (and the rules which permit another team to grab that player from your PS and put him on their active roster if you're not willing to do so). THIS would make the game a lot more fun with regard to roster management. It just irritates me that we keep paying big bucks for this stupid re-packaged game that doesn't even follow NFL rules regarding rosters.

ya...that also makes manual roster updates hard to do.

it wouldnt.
the restriction-less thing would make it easier.
as far as the PS stuff, that would only be added in the franchise mode, thereby not affecting the manual roster updates.

The 10 O-linemen rule is stupid. Most teams only carry 9.

I bet something like this will be better in the years to come as the 2nd, 3rd, etc. generation versions come out for the 360 and ps3.
